Cybersecurity firms in Israel are warning that the country is under attack from a Trojan virus, SysJoker, that is likely linked to Palestinian militant group Hamas. SysJoker disguises itself as legitimate software to trick users into downloads. Recent variants show ties to the Gaza Cybergang, operator of a set of targeted attacks against Israeli organizations between 2016-2017, suggesting a strong association between the hacking group WildCard and Hamas.
