Hardware-Based Cybersecurity For Software-Defined Vehicles

Software-defined vehicles (SDVs), with their complex electrical and software systems, are vital in improving vehicle performance and developing autonomous driving technologies. However, they are vulnerable to cyber-attacks, creating safety and security concerns. Cybersecurity consortium Secure-CAV has developed an architecture for trialing automotive cybersecurity solutions to address these risks. This hardware-based solution provides multi-layer protection, alongside data collection and analysis capabilities to respond to changing cyber threats.
