Health board hit by cyber attack with ‘significant quantity’ of data at risk
Scottish health board, NHS Dumfries and Galloway, has reported that it was the target of an ongoing cyber attack. The attack potentially compromised patient and staff data, prompting an immediate response from the board and investigations from Police Scotland, the National Cyber Security Agency and the Scottish Government. Scottish Health Secretary Neil Gray said the government is offering support to the board.
