Health board hit by cyber attack with ‘significant quantity’ of data at risk

The NHS Dumfries and Galloway health board has warned it is the target of a “focused and ongoing” cyber attack. Files accessed in the breach may contain patient and staff data. The Scottish Government is supporting the board in combating the attack, along with partners including Police Scotland and the National Crime Agency.
