Health board hit by cyber attack with ‘significant quantity’ of data at risk

The Scottish NHS Dumfries and Galloway has been targeted in a “focused and ongoing” cyber attack, it stated on its website. The attack may have gained access to patient and staff data; therefore the public and staff have been warned to remain vigilant. Scottish Health Secretary Neil Gray said the govt is offering support.
