Health board hit by cyber attack with ‘significant quantity’ of data at risk

NHS Dumfries and Galloway has become the target of a focused cyber attack. The attack, which is still ongoing, may have breached patient and staff data. Assistance and support are being provided from the Scottish Government, Police Scotland, and other organisations.
