Health board hit by cyber attack with ‘significant quantity’ of data at risk

A cyberattack targeting NHS Dumfries and Galloway is believed to have accessed both patient-identifiable and staff-identifiable data. The board said the attack was “focused and ongoing” and warned staff and the public to be vigilant.
