Health IT systems working but delays possible, says NHS

Patients with NHS appointments this week are advised to attend as usual, despite an IT outage affecting the EMIS platform forcing GPs to revert to manual operations. The British Medical Association cautioned that, whilst key disruptions are being minimised, delays caused by rebooking appointments and managements of patient records should be expected.
