Health IT vendors generally express support for HHS info blocking disincentives

The move is aimed at dissuading such actions; however, many healthcare organisations have argued the penalties are excessive and could undermine value-based care. Some industry groups, legislators, and technology companies support the ruling, arguing it improves patient safety, care access, and will enforce interoperability.
