Healthcare Industry Gets a ‘B+’ on Cybersecurity for 2024 |

SecurityScorecard research has graded the healthcare industry with a B+ for its cybersecurity in the first half of 2024. The industry has, however, been identified as particularly vulnerable to supply chain cyber risk. Other notable issues discovered include the higher risk of compromise for medical device companies and the prevalence of application security flaws in healthcare attack surfaces. Industry executives are now being encouraged to bolster supplier oversight and cybersecurity measures.
