Heat health alert issued as temperatures set to soar in Norfolk

A heat health alert has been issued for most parts of England, including Norfolk, due to temperatures expected to reach over 25°C for three consecutive days. The warning, effective from 8am Monday till 5pm Thursday, was issued by the UK Health Security Agency and Met Office. They cautioned that the heatwave could increase mortality rates, especially among the elderly and vulnerable, and potentially overwhelm remote healthcare services.
