The Health Sector Cybersecurity Coordination Center has warned about a cyber threat group called Lapsus$ that targets high-profile organizations. The group, possibly composed of teenagers and young adults from Portugal and Latin America, uses various techniques such as credential theft, social engineering, and managed service provider compromise. Lapsus$ recently targeted the Brazilian Ministry of Health, Okta, Microsoft, and other companies. Despite some arrests, the group is expected to continue its operations. The diversity of their tactics makes them difficult to detect or stop.
