HHS releases national data strategy to achieve better health outcomes

The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has launched a data strategy aimed at enhancing health outcomes. The move aims to advance cancer research, support the Biden Cancer Moonshot initiative, and improve financial performance. The strategy includes expanding the role of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and the use of artificial intelligence in processing healthcare’s protected data. The strategy also highlights five cases to enhance data capabilities.
