HiddenGh0st Malware Attacking MS-SQL & MySQL Servers

Gh0st RAT, a remote control malware developed by China’s C. Rufus Security Team is being used by Chinese hackers. A variant called HiddenGh0st targets MS-SQL servers with a Hidden rootkit that masks malware presence and deters its removal. It copies QQ Messenger data and attacks poorly managed servers. Users can defend against these attacks by strengthening passwords and regularly updating security tools.
