High Tech Industry targeted the most with 46% of attack traffic tagged by NLX

The Network Effect Threat Report by Fastly presents insights from Fastly’s Next-Gen WAF data. It found that 69% of IP addresses targeted multiple customers and industries and the high-tech industry faced most attacks. Traversal techniques surpassed SQL injection as the favored attack method. Out of Band callbacks were prevalent in attacks, with cloud hosting providers being the prime sources of attack traffic. Fastly’s threat feed, NLX, forewarned and shielded customers against potential attacks.
