HIMSS new cybersecurity report: Christmas virus, holes in Kubernetes and the year’s worst passwords

In a monthly report by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), several cybersecurity threats to the healthcare industry were highlighted. These include the continued development of the Kubernetes vulnerability, the emergence of a Christmas virus targeting DOS machines, security vulnerabilities in HVAC systems, weak passwords, and an increase in phishing attacks and cryptomining threats.
