HIMSS19 to offer a look at how HHS is approaching blockchain

At the upcoming HIMSS19 conference, officials from the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will discuss their current blockchain strategy and the potential impact of distributed ledger technology on healthcare. They will also explore approaches to ensure that blockchain tools developed in the private sector have a positive effect on healthcare delivery. HHS is actively working on advancing novel applications and use cases for blockchain, including within its own agency. The session will take place on February 11.
