The Deloitte report suggests most of us could live into our 90s if diseases are caught early and lifestyle factors improved. Five primary factors driving disease and death are lifestyle-related, while genetics, healthcare access, and environment also play a role. Despite this knowledge, average lifespan for Americans has dropped recently. Employers have a role in promoting healthy lifestyle choices, both for the wellbeing of individuals and to reduce healthcare costs.
