Hospital Authority to expand clinical database access for R&D

The Hospital Authority Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation are launching a data lab to give non-academic biomedical and health care R&D access to a large clinical database. The HKSTP HA Data Collaboration Lab will allow access to around 200,000 patients’ anonymous clinical records between 2007-2017. Strict measures have been applied to maintain the database’s security and privacy.
