Hospitals cyberattack: NHS update with some operations cancelled for patients

The NHS London has shared an update on a ransomware cyber-attack on Synnovis, causing disruption to services at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and primary care providers in southeast London. The attack has led to the cancellation of some operation and pathology services and affected blood testing protocols, with the impact expected to be prolonged for some patients awaiting surgeries. Emergency and urgent care services remain operational.
