How a Taiwanese hospital’s Superintendent led his team to achieve a top HIMSS ranking globally

China Medical University Hospital (CMUH) in Taiwan has excelled in digital health and achieved global rankings, led by Superintendent Dr Der-Yang Cho. The hospital has developed artificial intelligence (AI) healthcare systems in collaboration with Microsoft Taiwan and Google, incorporated advanced digital health technologies into clinical workflows, and conducted AI training for healthcare professionals. Future initiatives include expanding medical AI and big data analytics, creating a smart telemedicine platform, and furthering interoperability while prioritising digital transformation to continuously improve patient care.
