How the NHS hack has affected blood donation system

UK health chiefs are appealing for blood donations after a cyber strike on several London hospitals that severely disrupted blood testing services. UK-hospitals, including Evelina Children’s Hospital and King’s College Hospital, were attacked by the Qilin gang, known to target businesses for ransoms. The affected hospitals are predicting an increased requirement for blood up to the end of July.
