Hundreds of operations and appointments cancelled in week after NHS cyber attack

The cyberattack on Synnovis by suspected Russian group Qilin has forced hundreds of operations and outpatient appointments to be rearranged at two London NHS trusts. The attack on the pathology services provider caused severe reduction in its ability to process and report blood tests. Despite efforts to manage the situation, authorities expect the disruption to persist for some time. Over 800 planned operations and 700 outpatient appointments were rearranged in the first week following the attack.
