HYAS Infosec Groundbreaking Research on AI-Generated Malware Contributes to the AI Act, Other AI Policies and Regulations

HYAS Infosec’s research has been enlisted by the EU in forming their AI Act. This legislation seeks to regulate AI systems, however, it does not cover General-Purpose AI Systems (GPAIS) or those AI without an intended purpose. HYAS’s research, particularly its developments on AI-generated malware BlackMamba and EyeSpy, sheds light on these potentially harmful technologies. This work aids both in the formation of policies and in addressing contemporary cybersecurity challenges.
