IHH Healthcare migrates Malaysia, S’pore database systems to cloud

IHH Healthcare has migrated on-premise database systems at its Malaysian and Singaporean hospitals to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. These migrations included systems such as electronic medical records, patient management and appointment booking. Oracle’s scalability, security and disaster recovery capabilities made it the ideal choice, according to a company statement. The move is a major stride towards a united digital healthcare ecosystem, said Linus Tham, IHH’s CIO.
