India warns of malware attacks targeting its Android users

India’s Controller General of Defence Accounts has warned of an advanced malware, DogeRAT, targeting Android users primarily located in the country via social media and messaging platforms. The malware can access and control sensitive data, such as contacts, banking credentials, and user location. As the number of cybersecurity breaches increases in India, authorities advise against downloading apps from unverified platforms and recommend keeping smartphones updated.
