Insecure: How A Private Military Contractor’s Hiring Files Leaked

The UpGuard Cyber Risk Team discovered an unsecured repository of resumes submitted to private security firm, TigerSwan, which revealed publicly sensitive personal details of job applicants, including many military veterans. The data, left unsecured by a recruiting vendor that Tigerswan the firm had already ceased association with, claimed that it had notified TigerSwan of the breach in July, but the company did not secure the data until August.
