Intermountain expands DAX Copilot genAI deployment

Intermountain Healthcare is deploying Nuance Communications’ Dragon Ambient eXperience (DAX) Copilot system to improve operational efficiency in clinical documentation and reduce the workload on healthcare professionals. Aimed at tackling physician burnout, the tool captures multi-party conversations in real-time and auto-generates clinical documentation summaries, reducing screen time and allowing clinical staff to focus more on patient interactions. DAX is being used in more than 150 hospitals and health systems.
