Investigation into cyber attack ‘could take weeks’, says NHS England

A website and helpline have been established for patients affected by the ransomware attack on NHS provider Synnovis by the Russian cyber-crime group Qilin. The aftermath of the attack, which happened in June, has led to the cancellation of hundreds of operations and appointments across London. Authorities are investigating whether the data published by Qilin was stolen from Synnovis.
