The investigation into a ransomware attack on London hospitals this month is expected to take weeks to complete, according to the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). The attack was carried out by Russian group Qilin and resulted in the reported leak of patient data. The NHS warned that patients might have to be re-tested and that its operations have been severely impacted, particularly blood transfusion services. The leak includes records of 300 million patient interactions.
