IoT-malware attacks have surged by 400% since last year, with the manufacturing and education sectors most affected, according to the Zscaler ThreatLabz 2023 Enterprise IoT and OT Threat Report. The report analysed 300,000 blocked IoT-device attacks within six months, attributing the rise to cyber criminals’ adaptability and targeted exploitation of older vulnerabilities.
