iPhone to dominate U.S. physician smartphone market

A recent survey of US physicians found that 61% plan to own an iPhone by the end of 2011, compared to 39% at the start of the year. The survey, conducted by Aptilon Corporation, also found that 84% of physicians will be using a smartphone by the end of the year, with 61% using an iPhone. This reflects a preference among healthcare professionals for smartphones as a tool for accessing information and resources.
