Iran-linked hackers develop new malware downloaders to infect victims in Israel

An Iranian cyber-espionage group, identified as OilRig, has developed new malware amid an ongoing war with Hamas. The new malware, ODAgent, OilCheck, OilBooster, and SampleCheck5000, was used to target organisations in Israel. The group reportedly used these tools primarily against healthcare organizations, manufacturing companies and government groups previously affected by OilRig’s strategies.
