The survey found that the use of telemedicine for initial consultations has dropped to 11%, and while there’s growth in follow-up care and chronic care management, the report suggests healthcare providers aren’t maximising the technology’s potential. Providers should consider telehealth as a workflow solution, rather than just a technology, to increase its usage and improve patient outcomes.
