The Israeli city of Beersheba is turning into a major global cybertech hub as a result of relocation of parts of the army, companies including EMC, Deutsche Telekom, PayPal, Oracle, IBM and Lockheed Martin setting up shop, and links to Ben Gurion University. Projections indicate up to 30,000 cyber-related jobs could be created in the city in the next decade.
