Judge Dismisses Most SEC Charges Against SolarWinds

A US District Court judge has dismissed most of the charges against SolarWinds and CISO Tim Brown, brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), accusing them of misleading investors about cybersecurity measures from 2017 to 2021. Some charges remain linked to SolarWinds’s 2017 Security Statement, which the SEC has two weeks to address. SolarWinds’ executives, however, maintain that these remaining charges are factually incorrect.
