siteadmin June 28, 2024

Junior doctors in London have been exempted from their strike to assist hospitals affected by a ransomware attack on Synnovis. The cyber attack resulted in delayed appointments and procedures at south east London hospitals. The British Medical Association (BMA) has allowed limited doctors to work at these affected sites. So far, over 3,000 outpatient appointments and 1,255 elective procedures have been postponed at Guy’s and St. Thomas’ and King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts due to the attack.
