Kansas hospital impacted by data breach

US healthcare provider Ascension has launched an investigation into a cyber security event that has disrupted its operations. The company is working to ensure patient care delivery continues to be as safe and as minimally impacted as possible. Ascension plans to employ third-party firm Mandiant to help investigate the situation. Those impacted will be contacted.
