Kaspersky: AI can augment IT security teams’ tasks

Cybersecurity company Kaspersky believes that AI can significantly enhance organisations’ cyberdefences, especially for automating tasks and addressing the industry’s skills gap. The firm highlighted AI’s capacity to help identify anomalies, understand security event logs, and suggest initial steps for implants. However, Kaspersky also cautioned against relying too heavily on AI, emphasising the importance of transparency and that AI should augment, not replace, human talent.
