Kaspersky shuts American division ahead of sales ban

Russia’s Kaspersky Lab is exiting the US market and reducing staff due to a US government sales ban. The ban prohibits federal agencies from using their antivirus software. The company stated that they are cutting staff in the US and moving some of their operations to Switzerland to try to ease concerns about their ties to the Russian government.
