Kazakhstan Ranks 78th in National Cyber Security Index

Kazakhstan ranks 78th out of 176 countries in cybersecurity, according to the National Cyber Security Index. The country scored highly in data protection, but poorly in protecting essential and digital services. Despite improvements, several other CIS members ranked higher, with Belgium, Lithuania, and Estonia topping the index. The cybersecurity sector in Kazakhstan has grown by 41% monetarily in a year, reaching $6.2m in the first quarter of 2023.
