Kenya anticipates rising corporate security threats in 2024

Kenyan businesses are expected to face some of the world’s highest rates of corporate security threats in the coming year, according to a report by G4S. The report highlights concerns over internal threats such as misuse of company resources and data, leaking sensitive information, and unauthorized data access. External factors include fraud, competitor sabotage, property damage, and violence against employees. To counteract these risks, 69% of Kenyan security officers plan to implement biometric and facial recognition technology within five years.
