Kettering GP ‘breaches’ NHS contract over new patient ban

Doctors in Northamptonshire are refusing to accept new patients due to safety concerns known as "patient list closure". When demand exceeds supply, it is advised that doctors close their patient list so as to guarantee quality patient care. However, the move breaks their National Health Service (NHS) contract and NHS England has deemed the move unacceptable.
