Kids who survived Super Bowl shooting are scared, suffering panic attacks and sleep problems

Six months after a shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl parade, survivors, especially children, are dealing with the trauma of the event. Several have experienced changes in personality, difficulty with schoolwork, hypersensitivity to noises, and panic attacks, among other issues. Therapists are working with these children as families navigate resources and support. The young victims are trying to re-adjust to normal life, however, the trauma triggered by noise and crowds remains.
