Known unknowns: cyber insecurity troubles Australian lawmakers

Australian parliamentarians lack understanding of cybersecurity and critical technologies, according to a report by ASPI. Surveying a portion of the 46th Parliament, the report found members have similar security concerns to everyday tech users, feel vulnerable due to their position, and admit to a lack of knowledge about technological threats and opportunities. Most see state-backed cyber threats to critical infrastructure as the primary concern, but want further knowledge and advice on these issues.
