Korea expands research access to big cancer data and more briefs

South Korea has opened access to the K-CURE Public Cancer Library of anonymised data on 2.26 million cancer patients, spanning 2012 to 2020, along with COVID-19 infection and vaccination data. Separately, the country has launched a $25 million AI drug discovery project. Meanwhile, Siriraj Hospital in Thailand uses AI for lymphoma diagnosis, with the goal of enhancing cancer staging accuracy.
