Semiconductor packaging firm Kulicke and Soffa Industries has reported a data breach compromising roughly 12 million files, including sensitive information such as source code, engineering data, business partner data, and personally identifiable information. Detected on May 12th, 2024, the firm promptly took steps to contain the breach and has reported it to the police. Despite the breach, the company assures stakeholders that its operations were not materially affected.
