A new study from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and KLAS Research found that the majority of health organizations are following cybersecurity practices recommended by a federally convened task group. The study revealed that large organizations use more sophisticated cybersecurity measures than small organizations, and highlighted the need for smaller organizations to adopt stronger cybersecurity policies. The study also emphasized the importance of addressing medical device security and conducting annual enterprise-wide exercises to test incident-response plans.
