Lazarus is spreading malware through compromised software
Microsoft warns of North Korea’s hacking group Lazarus spreading malware using a CyberLink product. This has impacted 100+ devices in several countries, including US, Taiwan, Canada, and Japan. Lazarus, also known as Diamond Sleet, uses trojanised software to attack IT, defense, and media organizations. The hackers utilized a legitimate CyberLink application installer to spread the virus and steal sensitive data.
