Leidos-Integrated Runway Mgmt System Deployed at Seattle-Tacoma Airport

Leidos, a defence and civil solutions company, in partnership with Xsight Systems, have created an automated runway management system, RunWize, capable of detecting foreign objects and debris. The system is in use in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport’s new centre runway. RunWize uses video monitoring to ensure safety and efficiency. FODetect, another product also integrated with the system, has been deployed via airports in Boston, Tel Aviv and Bangkok.
